| I named my line of greeting cards Pepper Kittymonkey™ in honor of a black and white cat my husband and I named Pepper - our first pet together. She was very playful and used to go around the house making funny monkey noises, so I started calling her Kittymonkey. Eventually Pepper Kittymonkey became her full name until the day she ran away from home, perhaps with another kitty and never came back. I just hope she lived happily ever after! | Ever since I was a little girl I was always fascinated by colors and paper - I never went anywhere without them! Eventually, my need to constantly challenge myself creatively led me to a career in graphic design. I spent the first ten years of my career designing advertising, logos, marketing collateral and corporate invitations, but it was after designing my own wedding invitations in the winter of 2002, that I discovered my true calling - designing with my heart! Soon after, "Dio Selina Custom Designs" was born, a couture invitation studio specializing in the creation of custom correspondence for weddings and corporate events. As happy clients have spread the word, and orders continue to come in, my husband has joined me in this wonderful venture by taking over production tasks, allowing me to remain creative and always available to communicate with clients every step of the way, from the early conception stages through completion. Consultations are by appointment, we work with clients nationwide and overseas. |
